my story
Rooted in a queer, neurodivergent worldview, Laura’s practice centers visibility: creating spaces, narratives, and interfaces where marginalized voices are acknowledged, celebrated, and empowered. Her work is informed by a commitment to accessibility, healing through creative expression, and building environments where people of all identities, especially those historically rendered invisible, can fully participate and thrive.
Laura has a proven track record of elevating community-centered brands, producing inclusive exhibitions and events, and facilitating peer-led healing practices. She combines artistic insight with strategic design thinking, whether guiding collaborative workshops, coordinating virtual access initiatives, or crafting visual storytelling that resonates across cultures and communities.
At the core of Laura’s work is a belief that art, dialogue, and shared creative experience can transform how we see ourselves and each other. Whether through Sea of Visibility programming, design work, or community collaborations, she invites audiences into experiences that expand empathy, challenge assumptions, and honor the full complexity of human identity.
Outside of her professional practice, Laura is an advocate for mental health accessibility in the arts, a mentor to emerging creatives, and an active participant in events that celebrate diversity, resilience, and collective healing.
